Building a Steel Structure in Washington: Permits, Zoning & What You Need to Know

Washington state enforces building codes statewide through the State Building Code Council. Seismic design is important in western Washington. Eastern Washington is more rural-friendly for steel buildings. Agricultural building exemptions exist.
